The Creative Man Workshop
Creativity is action coming from wholeness and the feeling of being alive. It’s something needed for everyday living. It’s not just for making ‘art’. Creativity and health go together.
How do you create your life?
What stops your natural creative flow?
How do we relate to our sabotaging parts?
Common occurrences include stuckness, hesitation, forcing things, comparing self, and inherited beliefs of being inadequate or not-enough.
In these workshops we will deepen and embody our capacities to be creative men, tap into our innate wisdom, while treading new ground.
It will include:-
-
Creating from self.
-
Creating from other.
-
Creating from nothing.
You will be supported by a small community of like-minded men to activate the great character of your life, the one that carries your unique creativity and medicine. We include play, movement, embodied presence work, improvisations, writing, reflection, myth stories, poetry, and short personal performances. It's an honouring and grounding of the things important to your wellbeing, waiting to be told.

No previous experience is needed. We work at a pace suited to you, with no pressure to perform.

I just want to say how much I have appreciated being with you and the group these last 5 weeks. In and out with my own edges and yet in such a safely held and welcoming space that you have created. I loved that dual voice thing we did last session and have really seen /heard myself pinging between the two /several possibilities as an opportunity for more choice in how I respond.

Phil. Thank you so much for the last 5 week course. I deeply appreciate the way you run these courses creating such a feeling of safety. And because of this safety, and your constant appreciation of and encouragement to us all I felt so free to engage with the group rather than my usual pattern of staying in the background. Thanks for the movement, the poetry, the story telling, the deep relaxation exercise, the emphasis to stay in our bodies. The list goes on and on! With deep respect and deep gratitude.
